ESP Air Purification Solutions

Electrostatic air purification technology for industrial, commercial kitchen and commercial building applications

PENMARCH AIR is an ESP specialist — not a general filtration supplier. Every solution we provide is built around electrostatic precipitator technology, engineered for your specific application and pollutant type.

Three Markets. One Technology.

ESP Solutions Across Three Application Markets

Our electrostatic precipitator technology is applied across three distinct market segments — each with its own pollutant profile, regulatory environment and engineering requirements. One core technology, three focused solution areas.

Industrial ESP Solutions

Electrostatic air purification for industrial processes — capturing oil mist, welding fume, smoke and fine particles generated in manufacturing environments. Purpose-engineered ESP systems installed at source or centralised for whole-facility purification.

ESP Pollutant Control

What Can ESP Help You Control?

Electrostatic precipitators are particularly effective at capturing contaminants that defeat conventional mechanical filters — including sub-micron oil mist, grease aerosol and fine combustion particles.

Electrostatic vs Mechanical

Why Electrostatic Air Purification?

Unlike mechanical filters that physically block particles, ESP uses high-voltage electric fields to charge and collect contaminants — delivering advantages that mechanical filtration cannot match for oil mist and grease-heavy applications.

📉

Very Low Pressure Drop

ESP imposes minimal resistance to airflow throughout its service life — reducing fan energy and maintaining consistent purification performance as collection cells become loaded.

🧲

High Particle Collection Capability

High-voltage ionization captures sub-micron particles — including fine oil mist droplets and grease aerosol — that pass through standard mechanical pre-filters and grease filters.

🔄

Washable Collection Cells

Collection plates and ionizer cells are washed rather than replaced — eliminating ongoing filter media cost and the disposal of contaminated filter cartridges.

💨

Continuous Airflow

Unlike bag filters where pressure drop increases sharply as the filter loads, ESP maintains consistent airflow and purification performance between cleaning cycles.

🧩

Modular Configuration

ESP modules combine in parallel, series or stacked arrangements — scaling from a single 500 m³/h unit at a machine tool to a 75,000+ m³/h centralised industrial system.

⚙️

Application-Specific Design

Each ESP system is configured around your pollutant type, airflow volume and installation requirements — not a one-size-fits-all product catalogue selection.

Supporting Technologies

Integrated Air Treatment Technologies

ESP is our core technology. Where project requirements call for it, our systems integrate supporting air treatment technologies — always as additions to the ESP stage, never as replacements for it.

ℹ️

These technologies are available as integration options within our ESP systems — they are not standalone product lines. The ESP stage is always the primary purification mechanism. Supporting stages are added based on project-specific odor, regulatory or performance requirements.

🔲

Pre-Filtration

Coarse mesh or panel pre-filter stage protecting the downstream ESP ionizer from large particles and droplets — extending cleaning intervals.

🪨

Activated Carbon

Carbon panel, carbon cartridge or carbon tower stage added downstream of the ESP section for odor and VOC adsorption in kitchen and industrial applications.

ESP + Carbon integration
🔵

UV Photolysis

UV light stage integrated with the ESP module — breaks down organic odor molecules and some VOCs. Alternative to activated carbon for odor control in kitchen exhaust.

ESP + UV integration
🔬

Fine Filtration

High-efficiency mechanical filter stage added downstream of ESP for applications requiring capture of any residual particles below ESP collection threshold.
