CNC Oil Mist Collection

Application

CNC Oil Mist Collection — Application Overview

CNC machining and turning operations generate fine oil mist from coolant and cutting fluid atomization. Fine oil mist droplets contaminate workshop air, settle on equipment surfaces, create fire risk and present occupational health compliance challenges. Electrostatic precipitators are particularly effective for oil mist capture — their ionization mechanism targets the fine liquid aerosol droplets that mechanical filters cannot reliably capture.

Recommended ESP Configuration

Point-of-source electrostatic oil mist collectors installed on or above the CNC machine capture oil mist at origin. For multi-machine environments, centralised modular ESP systems extract from multiple sources through a shared duct network. Aviation-grade aluminium ionizer, washable collection cells, optional activated carbon odor stage.
